During the discussion in the council of the World Health Organization, or famously known as the council of WHO, all the delegates which were in the council displayed amazing, professional and fantastic knowledge regarding the topic of the barriers to healthcare access and the global impact of insurance denials and systemic inequities. During the discussion the delegates discussed multiple solutions regarding the problem, making different blocs where delegates separated themselves by high-income and low-income countries. During the topic of whether healthcare insurance policies were biased regarding high-income and low-income countries and what countries should prioritise on helping first, the delegate of Australia has stated that without help, low-income countries were to be helpless if there was a “corrupted” government controlling the country, with other delegates supporting claim and statement.
During another interesting topic regarding the topic on what triggers health insurance denial, there were a number of delegates which had participated in this discussion. One interesting statement during the discussion of the topic came from the delegate of South Korea, which had stated that in agreements, trust is key. When later asked by the press about how this would affect civilians if one side had failed to keep up their promise, the delegate of South Korea unfortunately could not respond. During the press conference, the delegation of Indonesia, when asked if they were prioritizing other countries and not theirs, also failed to give an answer. In conclusion, the fruitful discussion had led to solutions, the root causes which stated that the main root cause was insurance policies main objective being money and not healthcare, and what were their plans for the future to help solve this crisis.
